1. Swivel mount
Swivel mount, also known as tilt mount, has a flat base that tilts from right to left to position the screen at different angles. The user can adjust the screen to the desired viewing angle and suit different sitting positions.
Swivel is the best bet when the room has multiple sofas at different corners. However, the swivel mount is not suitable for large TVs due to the weight.
2. Full-motion mount
Suppose the back pocket allows spending a pretty coin. Opting for a full-motion mount will be better. This is the most complicated type of wall mount for TV mounts. It is used in large rooms and conference halls because they can be adjusted to different viewing angles.
The stands are robust to support big screens. The full-motion mount is very flexible, and the arm can be extended outwards to access backports.
3. Hook mount
As the name suggests, the hook mount uses a hook to attach the TV to the wall mount. It is a classic wall mount, but once the TV is mounted, it is not easy to remove it once needed to relocate.
Hook mount leaves allowance at the back, giving room for using the ports. Hook mounts are rare to get because flat mounts use hooks.
4. Flat mount
Flat mount is the primary wall mount and comes with a TV set. It is offered as an after-sale package to customers. The TV is mounted on the wall tightly and does not give room for tilting or extending.
